In 2002, Madrinas was formed to fill the need for a powerful network committed to developing Latina leaders. Some of you have been part of our journey from the beginning and some of you have joined along the way. It is because of you that we have grown to provide our monthly Conversations with Experts calls, access to in-person networking events, coaching corner program, a content-rich website with articles, job board and more. Most importantly, over the last 15 years, we have heard from many of you on the positive impact Madrinas has had on your career growth and success.

As Madrinas has grown, so has our footprint across the country and internationally. We’re blessed to have some of you join us in New York, as far out to California, many states in between, in Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Central America. This growth has also made us realize the need to scale as an organization in order to properly support you and the changing needs of Latinas in professional capacities.

At this crossroad, with much personal insight and reflection, we have determined the best way to grow with you is to partner with an organization that shares our ideals and vision. An organization that will continue to develop and provide resources for Latina professionals while continuing a strong network of support. That organization is the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE), based out of Chicago, with a virtual reach and with leadership development programs spanning more than ten major metropolitan cities.

Today we’re announcing our merger with HACE in the press release here. You will join a network of over 52,000 Latino professionals and will be able to take part in their national women’s leadership program, Mujeres de HACE, which has empowered over 800 Latina professionals, and has seven session cohorts across 10 cities and is growing. Best of all, you will continue to have access to virtual coaching sessions, career webinars, networking opportunities plus have access to HACE’s online job board.

We invite you to learn more about HACE at and register to become a member at no cost.  You will be able to see their content and have access to the archived program information from the Madrinas website.  You will soon be receiving an invitation to join in a teleconference to learn more about what HACE has to offer.

It has been an honor and a privilege to be on this journey with all of you.  We look forward to continuing the relationship, transitioning and growing together!
